In partnership with important AMU stakeholders, the goal of this position is to provide training on our awards administration systems and processes and ultimately assist the delivery of finished training products. Our existing system is known as “OTIS,” but over the next few years, we intend to improve it. Producing interactive training materials for live training sessions or online interactive webinars will be the primary responsibility of the function. The e-learning team will be able to use the scripts it produces to generate self-directed training. Working with the SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) of that system or process, this function will eventually develop to assist the delivery of training goods (remotely or in-person). We anticipated that the function would focus on systems 70% of the time and general awards management 30%.

Awards management system training design and development

• Interpret the SME ideas to develop learning objectives for the systems courses.
• From the learning objectives create a training outline
• Develop interactive and engaging content collaborating with specialist course writers depending on the training approach (ie face to face course, interactive webinars or e-learning course writers)
• Proactively improve courses based on feedback and own observation
• Proactively update courses based on revised processes and systems
• Contribute awards management systems messages into other training
