Nove Onlus is seeking a M&E Officer for the office in Kabul, who will be responsible to monitoring an assigned program’s portfolio in Afghanistan
The M&E will work under the supervision of the Country Program Coordinator (based in Kabul) and the Program Coordinator (based in Rome).
Job Requirements:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Office and Program Coordinator and the HQ Project Coordinator for the development of M&E frameworks for NOVE’s activities’ portfolio in Afghanistan, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and/ performance monitoring plans;
- Lead role in overseeing data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that data is of high quality;
- Provide technical support/conduct short trainings on M&E and evidence-based recommendations to the relevant Project Manager and Partners;
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and final reports to HQ on outputs and progress towards anticipated results.
- Perform any other task as required.
Person Specification – Essential Requirements
The experience and qualification required are:
- University/bachelor degree in relevant field.
- At least four years of experience working in M&E department.
- Proven knowledge and skills in development of M&E tools and qualitative and quantitative indicators.
- Good skills in report writing.
- Fluent in Dari/Pashto and English languages (Reading, Writing and Speaking).
- Great team working, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Preferable knowledge of the data collection software KoBo Toolbox.
- Competency in using computer e.g: Word, Excel and Power Point, Outlook, Internet and database.
For this position, it is also essential to prove:
- Freedom of mobility in Kabul and availability to travel to the Provinces, in line with Nove Onlus security policy;
- Ability to work independently, deliver also under stress and under tight deadlines;
- To be proactive, flexible and punctual in delivering a diverse set of tasks;
- To be empathic with the mission values of Nove Onlus;
JOB LOCATION: Kabul and travel outside of Kabul according to projects’ needs.
POSITION: Full time, 40 hours per week
SALARY: 650 USD
CONTRACTUAL OFFER: 3 months (including one month of probationary period) with possibility of extension.
