About NGO-Software Quality Assurance Analyst/USA/2023
An analyst for software quality assurance is needed by the IRC. Manual functional testing, multitasking, attention to detail, quick learning, and self-organization are essential qualities for this position. This position will design and manage testing scripts, test plans, and other test artifacts in addition to providing practical application testing help. Find requirement/specification gaps, develop and implement complicated use case scenarios, and collaborate closely with business teams to elucidate needs Strike a balance between maintaining high-quality standards and placing an undue burden on the release schedule. Establish a productive working connection between the product management and development teams. Within short deadlines, test and regression tests without sacrificing quality.
Required Qualifications of Software Quality Assurance Analyst
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in IT field or relevant work experience
The project management team, the software development team, and any other SMEs or project stakeholders
Experience:
- 3+ years of Quality Assurance experience on web-based applications, black box testing, functional, and system integration testing
- Some Performance and Load Testing experience with an open-source tool
Skills
- Demonstrated experience in functional, regression, and integration testing
- Experienced in discovering test scenarios from complex use cases and converting them into step-by-step test cases
- Able to work individually on a project and execute a full QA testing process
- Test multiple projects effectively to be able to adopt and deliver on changing priorities
- Experience in creating and maintaining regression suites
- Experience using Jira and Zephyr test suites
- Experience working with Agile and scrum methodologies
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills with attention to details
- Some automation and performance testing preferred
- Experience with any open-source Performance/Stress testing tool e.g. JMeter
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and a problem solver

- Effectively work with distributed teams
