About NGO-Virtual Navigator, Virtual Resettlement Line
In order to assist Afghan humanitarian parolees who arrived under Operation Allies Welcome, the International Rescue Committee (IRC) created a virtual resettlement and referral program through the Virtual Afghan Placement and Assistance program (VAPA) in March 2022. (OAW). The Uniting for Ukraine Support Line (U4USL), which assists Ukrainian humanitarian parolees in navigating resettlement in the United States, was launched immediately after VAPA in June 2022. The International Rescue Committee will combine the two programs and services under the new Virtual Resettlement Line in an effort to maintain and expedite support for recently arriving humanitarian parolees from Ukraine and Afghanistan (VRL).
