About OIST Internship 2023
2023: OIST, Japan, offers research internships for undergraduate and graduate students. Anyone interested in joining the IST HD program who is enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program, as well as a recent graduate, is eligible to take part in educational activities at IST as a research intern. Students can gain experience working in a research environment while being supervised by IST academics through a research internship at the institute.
Research intern positions are paid twice a year on a competitive basis. Selection depends on the suitability of the desired research, academic background, available funds, and space. It is a very competitive process. Not all open positions will necessarily need to be filled.

How to Apply
- Applications for the program must be submitted via the online form.
- Only until at least one recommendation letter has been received in the application system may you submit your application.
- You’ll get a notification that your application has been received. Please check your settings to make sure you can receive emails from the domain @oist.jp.
- After the application period, applications will be reviewed and the selection process will be finished.
- The announcement of the outcome will be made on your application platform three months after the application deadline. A notification will be sent to you when the outcome is announced. Eligibility
the individuals who are qualified to apply for the OIST Research Internship are Excellent students who are in their final two years of their undergraduate or master’s programs at universities, colleges, junior colleges, and vocational schools in Japan or abroad, as well as graduates from such institutions, are included in the program.
