Job Summary

The P2P and P2MP Wireless Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of UBNT, MikroTik, and Mimosa equipment to provide high-speed internet services to customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

·      Install Point-to-Point (P2P) and Point-to-MultiPoint (P2MP) wireless equipment such as UBNT, MikroTik, and Mimosa devices at towers and customer locations.

·      Mount and align sector antennas and Station CPEs according to network design and coverage requirements.

·      Configure and optimize wireless routers, access points, and CPE devices for stable and high-performance wireless connectivity at customer end.

·      troubleshoot network connectivity issues, signal interference, and performance problems in P2P and P2MP wireless links.

·      Provide technical support to customers experiencing connectivity issues or requiring assistance with wireless equipment configuration and setup.

·      Document network configurations, equipment status, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.

·      Communicate effectively with clients to understand their network requirements and address any concerns in a timely and professional manner.

·      Ensure that installations meet quality standards, performance expectations.

·      Performance of any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Job Requirements

·      Education: Minimum bachelor degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Networking, and ICTI is required.

·      Experience: Minimum two years of experience with installation and configuration of UBNT, MikroTik, and Mimosa wireless equipment’s is required.

Skills Required:

·      Fluent with Pashto Dari and English languages.

·      Knowledge of Point-to-Point (P2P) and Point-to-Multipoint (P2MP) wireless technologies.

·      Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues.

·      Familiarity with wireless router configurations and protocols.

·      Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·      Good communication and customer service skills.

·      Understanding of network security best practices.
