The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) is a member-based solidarity organization that has been working in support and solidarity with the Afghan people for more than 35 years. NAC works in the following sectors: Education, Gender and Human Rights, Governance and Civil Society, Health, Food Security, Job Creation, Disaster Risk Reduction and Climate Change Adaptation. The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) has a zero tolerance of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH) both within the organization and of beneficiaries. Prevention of and protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH) is the individual and collective responsibility of all NAC officers, management, staff, consultants, and volunteers, who are all required to familiarize themselves with, agree to, and act in accordance with NAC’s Ethical Guidelines and Commitment, NAC Child Protection Policy, and NAC PSEAH Policy, at all times – both during and outside working hours – and participate actively in introductory and refresher trainings. Any breaches of PSEAH clauses in NAC’s policies, guidelines, and/or commitments will lead to immediate termination and possible legal actions.

Major duties and responsibilities

• • Distribution of spices to all patients according to the doctor’s prescription

• Keeping a spice record in the health center
• Adjusting and leveling the spice stack
• Equating the monthly reports considering the stock balance
• Analysis of monthly and quarterly pharmacy reports
• Recommending the dosage of spices for patients
• Being responsible for maintaining the safe of spices in the health center
• Preparation of antiseptics in different percentages in the health center
• Requesting the spice before the spice runs out in the health center
• Monitoring the medicine and 6 months before the medicine expires and sending its report to the central office
• Carrying out the duties assigned to them by the competent authorities and supervisors

Language requirements, if needed

Mastery of the official languages ​​of the country (Pashto and Dari) and familiarity with English 

Qualifications required

Having a pharmacy/pharmacy education certificate approved by the Ministry of Public Health

Work experience

Having one year of clinical work experience 

Skills

Having comprehension skills 

Having conflict resolution skills
