Job Description:
The Water Emergency Response Project (WERP) is seeking enthusiastic and motivated interns to join our Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Internship Program. This internship is a unique opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience.
The intern will work in their assigned department under the supervision of the respective manager/supervisor to learn by doing and observation. The incumbent of this position will be responsible for learning by doing, supporting the department team in filling out and collecting information, learning the designing and development of programs and projects.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- To learn the process, trends, documentation, pre-requirements of the WERP project, nature of rural development infrastructure projects, and working with other relevant units.

- The intern will have the opportunity to closely work with technical teams and learn preparation of standard technical specifications.
- To learn and work in administrative duties such as organizing files, scheduling meetings, and managing correspondence.
- To communicate effectively with thematic departments and units for completing documents and processing administrative tasks
- Support the coordination of events, workshops, and training sessions for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
- Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of WERP project
- Interns will be required to submit reports on their internship progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
- Support in the day-to-day administrative functions of the Program Department.
- Assist with data entry, questionnaire development, and analyzing data
Collaborate with project teams to conduct field assessments, data gathering, and prepare reports on the relevant parts.
Job Requirements:
Education & Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and social science preference will be given to the fresh graduates.
- Experience is not required.
Technical Skills:
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and e-mail
- Good Communication Skills and good command of oral and written English
- Good Organizational and administrative skills.
