Job Context:

Association for Community Development (ACD) is looking for a suitable applicant for the position of Project Coordinator who will be responsible for implementing a project. It is a managerial position with strong leadership, management, coordination and reporting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction, oversight and leadership to project staffs to manage the project.
• Strengthen knowledge of men and women on gender, human rights, migrant’s rights, access to information and services from government.
• Need assessments of target groups, project management and advocacy.
• Develop communication and visibility materials featuring government services.
• Organize training on project management, monitoring and documentation for staffs.
• Ensure the quality and impact of the program and ensuring that gender equity is addressed.
• Represent the program at meetings, workshops and training with stakeholders for effective dialogue and advocacy at district, Upazila and Union level.
• Ensure that project activities are implemented according to established project principles with adequate migrants’ participation.
• Maintain liaison with government departments, local elected bodies, city corporation and relevant service providers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual report and case studies as per deadlines.
