- Assist in strategic planning and overall management of Case Management activities
- Provide technical support in case management support for quality and accountability standards and measures
- Assist in preparing periodic reports (narrative and quantitative) for donors, government and organization on case management part
- Ensure updated filing and documentation of SGBV cases in line with GBVIMS tools
Responsibilities & Context
The GBVIMS and L&A oversee the Case Management services and SASA! Together. S/he will oversee individual (through the case management process) activities for survivors of SGBV. This position supervises the SGBV Case Management Supervisors and Case Workers and activities carried out in all over the camps. Additionally, this role also oversees the activity carried out by SASA! Together they collect and input data in the database, provide feedback, and assess the entire survey
- Ensures case notes are entered into the case management system
- Provides continuous capacity building and skills development for teams
- Ensures SGBV Protection case management is conducted according to the ISCG minimum standards guide
- Attends Case Management task-force meetings
- Ensure an appropriate Learning and Assessment (L&A) system is in place and is functioning satisfactorily. Periodically review and revise the system to adapt appropriately to changing operating contexts
- Ensure relevant and timely L&A information is provided in user-friendly formats to key stakeholders
- Provide support to the SASA! Together to establish baselines and set up L&A systems suited to the operating context
- Provide training and mentoring for SASA together staff
- Maintain the confidentiality of the data filing system
- Ensure all information be kept with the highest confidentiality
- Help establish appropriate indicators at the outset of the SASA Activities
- Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so
