• Age 35 to 40 years

• Experience: Must have 3-4 years of experience in water and sewage works in a private development organization. Must have computer skills.

Responsibilities & Context

• Destitution Health Center (DSK) has been implementing various developmental socio-economic activities for the poor people in urban and rural areas of Bangladesh since 1988. The organization will recruit qualified candidates for the following positions in the Chittagong region under the Social Security Scheme (SSS) project under the WaterAid supported WASH4UrbanPoor-CCC project.

Responsibilities and Duties (brief):

• Maintain good relations with project beneficiaries and partners; Establish and maintain regular communication and relationships with the City Corporation and other stakeholders;
• Organizing various meetings/workshops at the local/national level and liaising with various media outlets for project needs;
• Monitor whether project activities are being carried out at appropriate costs by following the procurement/accounting policies of the donor agency and DSK;
• Ensure achievement of goals, taking into account the budget allocated for the planning and implementation period;
• Monitoring the activities implemented in the project area, identifying problems, taking necessary steps to resolve the problems, and informing higher authorities in a timely manner;
• Working to keep project activities active by holding regular meetings with designated community groups in the work area;
• Prepare financial reports for beneficiaries in the work area every month/quarter;
• Preparing various types of reports as required by the project and assisting superiors in preparing reports;
