- Must live in the project working area and 100% fieldwork is expected. Ready to accept the challenges and cope with the changes
Responsibilities & Context
- The purpose of the position is to implement the Livelihood and Skill Training intervention of the project smoothly and better coordination with internal and external coordination. The Project Officer will support the project team, Assistant Officer, Community Facilitator, Skill Trainer and Volunteer. The PO will build up a strong relationship with Government bodies (CIC Personnel) and other stakeholders like Site management, Sector and other related NGO /INGO. Regular.1. Program Implementation for assigned working area:
- A yearly budget, detailed implementation plan (DIP), and operational guidelines are in place, that will reflect the PO’s responsibilities. Accomplishment 100% annual plan of the program in the assigned working filed. Implement the targeted activities for the assigned Camp. Provide all support for project intervention like Skill Training, Kitchen Gardening, Nutrition Sensitive and DRR Session. Conduct beneficiary selection and Need Assessment for project activities and prepared completion report2. Capacity Building of different Management Committee, groups, Skill Trainer, Community Facilitator, Watchman, Livelihood participants, and other support members :
- Support to organize trainings, orientations and session to groups members, CF and Project participants. Support to organize training and establish Kitchen Garden, IGA, Trade based intervention at beneficiary level. Support to established Modern Vegetable Nursery and seedling distribution. Support to Non-farm trade selection and market linkage, capacity building etc. Ensured agricultural Inputs and distribute among kitchen garden participants. Support to Skill Trainer to organize training and ensure support. Support to report writing and information dissemination.3. Coordination with CIC, Site Management and Food and Livelihood sector and relevant other NGO/INGO:
- Support to get CIC approvals like need assessment, distribution plan, completion report etc. Ensure the participation of camp coordination meeting and sectorial meeting. Regular communication with CIC personnel and update shearing. Good Relation build up with sectorial team and other relevant NGO/INGO.4. Reflection & learning of success information:
- Continue thoughtful practice and promote its use in self and with others assign team members. Situational learning through experience and the use of critical thinking and analysis effectively. Contribute to develop a positive team environment. Support individual, team spiritual growth and organizational learning. Provide relevant information reflection to contribute to evidence building and organizational learning.5. Professional and personal development:
- Proactive learning through a habit of reading books, exploring online learning opportunities and abled to apply learning into work. Always look forward to the next stage development through the application of common sense and context.
