The Nangarhar Valley Agricultural Emirate Company (Canal) is an agricultural project whose initial survey and design works began in 1984 and were completed in 1952. The canal has an irrigation capacity of 31,000 hectares of land in five districts of Nangarhar province (Sorkhrood, Behsud, Beti Kot, Ani Khel and Mohmand Darreh). be.

1. Preparing and arranging weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual work plans in accordance with the director’s plan and to achieve the company’s anticipated goals.
2. Design and construction of dams and rivers according to national and international standards
3. Supervision and maintenance of irrigation facilities and systems.
4. Preparing a plan for the river dam.
5. Water containment management.
6. Arranging work volumes.
7. Technical advice on dam construction.
8. Provide monthly, quarterly, annual and when necessary reports to the competent authorities on the activities and achievements related to management. 
9. Performing other duties assigned by authorities in accordance with the laws, regulations and objectives of the department.

• At least a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: hydrology, water resources management, and a higher degree is preferred. 
• Have at least three years of work experience related to the job.
• Having the ability to manage, direct, plan and organize. 

Required skills:

• Having qualifications and competence, commitment to work, good character and good reputation. 
• Fluency in the official languages ​​(Pashto and Dari) and familiarity (writing and speaking) with English. 
• Computer skills in task-related applications.
