Job Description:

The receptionist will be responsible for the following activities but not limited to:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The receptionist will ensure all visitors are greeted and registered and all required ID checks have been performed.
  • The receptionist will Schedule appointments for guests as required.
  • The receptionist will assist in escorting visitors to staff members.
  • The receptionist will be answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
  • Update calendars and schedule meetings.
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor, badges)
  • Any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Baccalaureate degree is required and bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, and Social Sciences Management are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in related field.
  • Languages: Proficiency in both national languages and excellent communication and written skills in English
  • Self-Motivated, Quick learner with a positive attitude.
  • Cooperative and team-working skills
  • Being flexible regarding working hours.
  • Disciplined, honest, professional, and hard worker.
