Job Description

Position: Field officers

Introduction: YRGCARE, a non-profit organization based in Chennai with a Pan India presence, is dedicated to addressing the HIV care continuum and infectious diseases. We are inviting interested individuals to join our team on an exciting endeavour to engage with youth in selected cities of North-East India, synchronizing their educational aspirations with Universities in the USA. Let us work together to mainstream the aspirations of youth in North-Eastern India, aligning them with opportunities available to their counterparts across the country.

Location: Itanagar, Aizawl

Vacancies: 2

Salary : 20,000/- Per Month

Key Responsibilities:
Engage with colleges, universities, academia, college-going youth, parents, and key stakeholders in the specified locations.
Organize workshops, seminars, and information sessions to promote educational opportunities in US universities.
Engage with college-going youth to understand their aspirations and provide guidance on pursuing higher education in the USA.
Provide personalized information and guidance, addressing specific concerns or queries raised by stakeholders. This may include explaining academic programs, financial considerations, and career prospects.
Establish a feedback mechanism to continuously assess stakeholder satisfaction and identify areas for improvement in the engagement process.
Prepare regular reports highlighting activities, achievements, and challenges faced.
Maintain meticulous records of all engagements, including participant details, feedback received, and outcomes achieved
Assist in logistical arrangements for events, including venue bookings, travel arrangements, and materials preparation
Ensure timely submission of expense reports and other administrative requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in social work
Fluency in spoken and written English.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in one of the local languages spoken in Itanagar, Aizawl.
Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Personal Two-Wheeler Preferred.
Note: Local travels will be reimbursed on actual
