Job Description:
Responsibilities and Tasks
Job Responsibilities 01: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises. And driver duties responsible for transporting staff or handling deliveries in a timely manner.

- Available all the time in the gate and exercise serious control inside and outside the compound

- Registration of visitors in the record and keeping visitor register with passes in a systematic manner.
- Proactive and vigilant management of office/official residence access control procedures
- The main duty of this position is to cover shift of driver or Guards whenever needed as backup.
- To ensure regular and proper maintenance of information related to visitors to the office, movements of staff and vehicles as well as goods and materials entering office and going out.
- Report any incident immediately to the line manager as per AAA Incident Reporting Procedure.
- Ensure fuel in the generator is full and working whenever needed refuel it and especially during the nights and attend to turning on or turning off the generator, whenever needed and keep clean the generators.
- To record and maintain data related to fuel and energy consumption of common utilities like generators, heaters etc.
- Thorough check up of rooms, windows, doors, electricity, heaters, fans and lights after office hours (during his/he is working time)
- Vigilant of other vehicles parked around the office and guest house.
- Adherence to the office rules and regulations, particularly related to security protocol and guidelines thereof.
- To ensure safety and security of organization assets in office. And in some cases, you must have the ability to work alone.
- Handover everything completely to the next shift and take over from next shift.
- Guard must patrol in the compound during the duty exactly during the night to make sure all fine in the compound further specifically nothing suspicious seen around inside the compound by keep watching CCTV Cameras.
- Guard is responsible to keep the guards room clean at all the time and Cleaning of office yard.
- It is important to exhibit good behavior, show respect, and demonstrate patience when interacting with visitors and vendors who visit the office.
- The guard/driver must provide reliable and safe driving services to the Office, must drive safely and obey the traffic rules and laws.
- Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory, map of the city/country, first aid kit, necessary spare parts, as well as others as required in line with Security Management.
- Available all the time day & night for driving staff to the location during work hours.
- Proactive and vigilant management of office/official residence access control procedures
- Have familiarity with Kabul location and knowledge of driving rules and regulation and Basic vehicle mechanical skills and have experience of deferent vehicle driving.
- Register all drop and pickup of staff in vehicles logbook and submit vehicle monthly logbook to safety and security department.
- Drive AAA vehicles efficiently and in safely manner for the passengers in conformity with local road traffic Maintain high quality of driving conduct.
- Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the assigned vehicle to ensure roadworthy conditions. This includes daily check of fuel, tires, brakes, engine, oil, water, fan, belt, car washing etc.
- Vehicles must always be kept clean, interior, and exterior.
- Ensure that the AAA vehicle is used only for official/authorized business, as advised by the supervisor.
- Be prepared to work flexible longer hours and to travel long distances may be necessary and perform night shift driving weekend and holidays while requested by the supervisor.
- Help office staff if needed during loading of assets to the vehicle.
- If there is no outside driving activity, he stands by in the office, supports other colleagues on a needy basis, and does other office work as assigned by supervisor.
- Have a good morality, be patient, respect all staff and team.
- Report any incident and accident immediately to the supervisor as per AAA Incident Reporting Procedure.
- Adherence to the office rules and regulations, particularly related to the safety and security protocol and guidelines and to ensure the safety and security of organization assets, office, and vehicles.
- Have legal driving license from government of Afghanistan.
- Performing all other tasks and responsibilities assigned by Supervisor.
