Job Description:
Objective of Job:
The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for all financial aspects fof the project .He manage the budget ,prepares financial reports and ensure all financial transportations are conducted legally and ethically.
Main Duties:
- Responsible for all financial aspects of OSAA (Relevant Projects);
- Monitor balances in account receivables and payables;
- Make financial clearances with donors, governmental offices and OSAA employees;
- Facilitate the payment of employees, transportation fee of beneficiaries and all payments which OSAA departments and projects use according to budget and policies;
- Ensure that all statutory deductions such as Taxes are promptly remitted to the relevant statutory authority;
- Keeping accurate records for all daily transactions;
- Preparing balance sheets;
- Participate in the improvement of the accounting system and internal control;
- Processing invoices;
- Update internal systems with financial data;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports;
- Reconcile bank statements;
- Participate in financial audits;
- Track bank deposits and payments;
- Assist with budget preparation;
- Review and implement financial policies;
- coordinating with the Bank which OSAA has account there for the account’s issues;
- Participate in the improvement of the accounting system and internal control;
- Taking part in core staff meetings and reporting the activities in a time bone;
- Raising the capacities of the financial department itself and training other employees of the financial department if necessary.
- Reviewing the annual expenses of the office and finding suitable solutions to improve the financial sector.
- Planning financial strategy in the financial department and forecasting office expenses if necessary.
- Strengthening good relations with donors and other office employees.
- Any other task assigned by the OSAA Director;
Job Requirements:
Graduatation from approved faculties(preferable in Economic Faculty)
Hith organized.
Speak by Afghan officail languages.
Strong written and verbal English skills.
