Responsibilities

  • Monitor the implementation of the FRTF Project in Honduras in a timely manner, ensuring IOM procedures and guidelines are followed.
  • Supervise project staff members (case management) undertaking case management activities and giving feedback to staff member on their performance on a regular basis to ensure high quality work and the accurate completion of case management activities.
  • Ensure the timely execution of the workplan of FRTF project in Honduras.
  • In coordination with the Project Manager- FRTF, organize coordination meetings with governments counterparts, US Embassy and implementing partners to guarantee the effective implementation of the activities of the FRTF project in Honduras
  • Liaise with other units to ensure open communication and coordination, such as movement operations staff.
  • Monitor the use of FRTF program budget in Honduras in coordination with the Resources Management Officer and Project Manager.
  • Participate in the recruitment process and supervision of FRTF project staff.
  • In coordination with Project Manager, elaborate quarterly and monthly narrative and financial reports as well a weekly and other request of information.
  • Ensure a gender-bases and human rights approach in all operations.

Perform such other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications

School diploma with six years of relevant experience or,

Bachelor’s degree in political or social scencies, internacional relations, development studies, migration studies, human rights, law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with four years of relevant professional experience.
