Position Description:
The SO will communicate with the project targeted beneficiaries ( addict users), and communities members in central, district and village-levels, that will take responsibilities to make decisions with close coordination of south regional office team and DACAAR main office team / SSED team in all interventions properly as its require, to complete the central, district and village-levels profile for further selection of the project beneficiaries in collaboration with the Field officer, project in charge and relevant stack holders in provincial level.
Responsibilities:
Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:
- The SO should disseminate the objective of the project intervention to the relevant stakeholders in provincial, district and village levels based on the requirements.
- The SO will arrange meetings, appointments with the relevant stockholder’s in any time required.
- The SO resolves any dispute related to the project intervention.
- Should understand the importance of sustainability and promote its concept among the beneficiaries through dissemination, mobilization, and active participation of the community in the project intervention.
- The SO should facilitate the project intervention in all aspects, through dissemination of the project objective (To increase social reintegration and employment of recovering drug users enabling them to sustain their recovery into the society by providing specialized marketable small scale enterprise development programming.
- Help,SRO team, Field officers and SSED unit team, in community awareness-raising regarding the importance of income generation activities.
- Coordinate with the district, village communities and the relevant provinces authorities.
- Report monthly progress to the project field officer according to the format requested by DACAAR.
- Coordinate with Community organization and able to solve internal small disputes with community / SU ( Shura-e-Ulama), at district and villages level.
- Collecting related information/data and coordinate with field Officer to finalize reports.
- The holder of this position must strictly follow the organization existing security policies, procedures and daily instructions of the safety personnel.
- Any other tasks giving by the supervisor
