  • Lead the drafting of quarterly program reports and annual work plans, ensuring high-quality written products related to the project’s technical approaches and learning.
  • Provide technical guidance to project staff on tailoring interventions to the needs of conflict-affected communities.
  • Support the Program Communications Specialist in producing compelling and compliant written, video, and social media messaging that clearly convey the project’s activities and results.
  • Support the Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) Specialist in adapting and developing tools and trainings to effectively integrate gender equity and social inclusion approaches across project activities.

  • Collaborate closely with the M&E, program and grants, and finance and operations teams to ensure that the Activity’s technical approaches and methodologies are informed by programmatic, M&E, financial, and operational considerations.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in journalism, communications, media studies, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in media development, journalism, or a related field, with a focus on conflict-affected areas.

  • Strong understanding of the role of media in peacebuilding and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
