Working experience WASH response.
Working in Humanitarian Assistance and Emergency Response Program.
Professional work experience in humanitarian project implementation, monitoring, operation, and reporting.
Experience in the design, construction, and supervision of WASH & Shelter infrastructure.
Proficient knowledge of standard computer software (AutoCAD, GIS, MS Word, Excel and project management software).
Demonstrates adaptiveness to change and ability to manage complexities.
Have knowledge of qualitative and quantitative M&E system, large data-based management, monitoring of WASH based programs and socio-economic status.
Good communication and networking skills both in Bangla & English.
Responsibilities & Context
The key purpose of this position is to carry out the duties and responsibilities to ensure effective implementation of WASH interventions maintaining the highest possible level of standards and quality by ensuring necessary support to the project and utilizing resources for implementation. In this circumstance, NGO Forum is looking for a qualified individual to carry out the duties and responsibilities of Improved WASH Services. This position holder will be responsible to design planning and budget preparation of the whole WASH project as per the guideline.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Developing WASH Projects with implementation plan, budget, monitoring plan etc.
Coordination with donor agencies and WASH Sector.
Provide technical support for WASH interventions as well as day-to-day operation and maintenance.
Prepare monitoring guidelines & follow up Design, Implementation & Standard Operation of WASH activities.
Contribute to Program Development and Donor Reporting.
Monitoring the Project activities & implementation.
Prepare the work plan considering the target of the project period.
Join various national & international meetings as a representative of the agency.
Emergency response team coordination.
Coordinate with the field team & provide technical guidelines to camp engineers for the smooth functioning of the project.
Contribute to network building and coordination with the CiC, RRRC, Site Management, and Sector Coordinators for project activities.
Design and implementation of various WASH facilities like FSTP, Earthen Dam, Surface & ground Water Treatment Plant, solid waste management plants etc.
Introducing Standard Operating Procedures for different FSM, SWM, and Water Supply Systems.
Follow up on Infrastructure implementation and prepare monitoring guidelines.
Act as the technical focal in all aspect of the project activities like: new construction, upgradation, FSM, SWM, water supply etc.
Support Hygiene Promotion team in designing the approaches.
Assisting the procurement team as per project demand.
Assist the project management team as per project requirement.
