The strategic development plan for Haiti is organized around the goal of becoming an emerging nation by 2030, with a focus in particular on improving access to healthcare, education, and social inclusion, especially for young people, women, and rural residents. Nonetheless, due to political instability, the country must step up its efforts to achieve its long-term development goals (SDG).

UN Careers-Affiliated Security/Haiti/2023 Requirments
Education:
- Secondaire est requis.
- Baccalauréat est un atout.
Experience:
- At least six years of professional experience, at increasingly high levels of responsibility, in the field of security, preferably in the military, police, or a closely related field.
- Prior experience working with the United Nations system or an international NGO is advantageous.
Languages:
- French and English language proficiency is required.
- Understanding a different official working language of the ONU is advantageous.
