About UN Careers-Consultant Procurement Officer/2023

Provide technical guidance and direction for moderately complicated procurement field activities, working together with the essential supply chain components to guarantee an integrated supply chain approach to addressing the beneficiaries’ needs for food aid. to gather data, evaluate it, and then report on it in order to make procurement procedures and activities as efficient as possible.

Required Qualifications of UN Careers-Consultant Procurement Officer/2023


Advanced degree from the university in economics, commerce, business administration, engineering, law, or accounting, or first degree from the university plus extra relevant job experience, education, or training.


Managing recurring transactions, and purchases of commodities, goods, and services for at least five years. knowledge of creating supplier cost and timeline reports (e.g. retailers, wholesalers and traders). experience in organizing procurement procedures with different units or teams. knowledge of creating policies and procedures for procurement.


French proficiency (level C) and moderate English language proficiency (level B).
