About UN Careers-Consultant – Web and Communications Editor
Great-quality original or recycled content for regional and country office websites, speeches, social media posts, press releases, and campaign materials is in high demand throughout technical departments and country offices. The Publishing, Editorial, and Graphic Design (PEG) team provides some editorial support to the Communications for Health Programme (CFH), but more assistance from a consultant is now being sought in order to make the best use of the scarce internal resources and guarantee the prompt creation of successful strategic communication products.
In close collaboration with the PEG team, in particular the Chief Editor of WHO/EMRO, the Consultancy is required to help the CFH program in editing and generating high-quality communication products, including web/social media content, press releases, campaign materials, and speeches.
Required Qualifications of UN Careers-Consultant – Web and Communications Editor
Education:
a Bachelor’s degree from the first four years of college in English, linguistics, communication, science, social sciences, humanities, or a closely connected discipline.
Experience:
a minimum of five years of solid relevant experience gained while working in a setting that emphasizes communication and editing.
Languages:
English (Read – Write – Speak / Expert)
