About UN Careers-MEAL Coordinator/Faso/2023
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator works closely with program, grant, and support teams to maximize monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning capacities and opportunities of the IRC mission in Burkina Faso in order to ensure high-quality programming for the clients we serve and support the global advocacy movement. The MEAL Coordinator reports to the Deputy Director of Programs and is technically supported by the Regional Measurement Action Coordinator.
In order to do this, it is the responsibility of the MEAL Coordinator to guarantee that a monitoring, evaluation, and accountability system is in place, that it is adequately resourced, and that it is properly implemented from data collection through data visualization. Also, the MEAL data is enhancing learning and program quality. In accordance with IRC’s corporate requirements, the MEAL Coordinator is in charge of making sure that MEAL principles are incorporated into each stage of the project cycle and helps to put Strategy 100 and the National Strategic Action Plan into action.
The coordinator offers crucial technical help, capacity sharing, one-on-one mentorship, supervision, and training to MEAL professionals at the IRC and partners in order to further these objectives.
UN Careers-MEAL Coordinator/Faso/2023 Requirments
Education:
- A minimum of a master’s degree in a relevant field (statistics, data monitoring and management, social sciences, public health, economic development, or a related field) – a technical degree and additional relevant work experience may substitute for education.
Experience:
- a minimum of five years of work experience in functions relating to learning, monitoring, evaluation, and accountability.
Languages:
- Fluency in English (written and speaking) in addition to french
