About UN Jobs-Human Resources Associate
In order to better contribute to addressing national priorities and growing needs faced by the most vulnerable children, UNICEF is putting into action the extension of the cooperation program agreed upon with the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Through technical collaboration, capacity development, supply delivery, communication, and advocacy methods, the program’s growth is being carried out with the goal of enhancing national capability in the areas of nutrition, health, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), protection, and education.
Under the close supervision and direction of the Human Resources Officer, the Human Resources Associate supports the effective implementation of a wide range of HR functions for all staff categories in his or her office. This is done by ensuring accurate and timely delivery in accordance with UNICEF HR rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications of UN Jobs-Human Resources Associate
Education:
It is necessary to complete your secondary school, ideally with the addition of technical or university courses in Human Resources, Administration, or a closely connected field of expertise.
Experience:
- A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible administrative or clerical work experience is required.
- Experience working with any United Nations agency is preferred.
Languages:
Spanish proficiency is necessary. English proficiency is necessary. It is advantageous to be conversant in another UN official language, such as Arabic, Chinese, French, or Russian.
