The Project Associate is accountable for carrying out a wide range of procedural and specialized administrative tasks for the development of the joint UNICEF/WFP project in Mbuya under the supervision and direction of the supervisor, which calls for in-depth knowledge of UNICEF administrative procedures, processes, and policies. Coordinating meetings amongst stakeholders, reporting meeting outcomes to the project manager, and serving as the point of contact between the contractors and the agency are all part of this process. The project associate will offer assistance to encourage the process’s seamless operation, lowering the constant risk of miscommunication and delay.
A technical team consisting of the Project Manager, the Project Architect, and a Project Associate will be crucially dependent on the Project Associate. This team will work under the leadership of the Project Management Team Committee comprising of senior staff members from both UNICEF & WFP.
