About UN jobs-Project Specialist
administration of the new FAO/USAID resilience project in Abkhazia on a daily basis. This initiative will help Abkhazian communities that work in the agriculture and forestry sectors (forest health, management of forests, and natural parks) become more resilient (promotion of good agricultural practices, including post-harvest technologies). Multiple local staff teams in various work areas will be managed by the project specialist.
The Project Specialist for Abkhazia will work under the overall supervision of the Programme Coordinator for Abkhazia.

Required Qualifications Of UN jobs-Project Specialist
Education:
Advanced university degree in agriculture, forestry, or management of natural resources.
Experience:
Three years of relevant experience in project or program management three years of relevant experience in project or programme management
languages:
Working knowledge (Level C) in English and limited knowledge (Level B) of one of the other FAO languages (Spanish, French, Chinese, Arabic, or Russian) is required for COF. For PSA, working knowledge of English would suffice. Fluency in Russian would be a strong asset.
