Required Qualifications of UN Jobs-Security Specialist/Ghana/2023

Education:

  • An advanced university degree (Master’s or higher) in
    *A first University Degree in a relevant field combined with 2 additional years of professional experience may be accepted in lieu of an Advanced University Degree.

Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in national security risk management and/or security analysis is required.
  • Demonstrated international security management experience and understanding of the United Nations Security Management System is highly desirable.

Languages:

English proficiency is necessary. An asset is having knowledge of a local language or another UN official language, such as French.
