Qualifications, experience, skills, and languages
Education
- Essential: Minimum first university degree in medicine from a recognized university.
- Desirable: Postgraduate degree from a university in public health or community medicine.,
Experience
- Essential: At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Desirable: Experience in health policy and system research, preferably related to NCD
Skills/ Knowledge
- Technical competencies in public health for NCD control
- Ability to establish harmonious relationships with the technical team
Use of Language Skills
Essential: Advanced knowledge of English.
Location: Off-site: _New Delhi, India
- Remuneration: Band A monthly rate of 5000 USD
- Expected duration of the contract: 10 months; January to October 2023
Work packages
- Deliverable 1- Scientifically valid approved methods, tools, and evaluation matrix to be used by the contractual partner for the Evaluation of the adoption of people-centered NCD service delivery within primary health care in SEAR countries (2014-2021)
Task 2- Support collation and presentation of relevant reports and documents of all Member States of the South-East Asia Region obtained through coordination with WHO focal points/focal points of Ministries of Health
- Deliverable 2 – Relevant reports and documents of all Member States of the South East Asia Region collated
3- Support the technical unit for data collation through coordination with WHO focal points/focal points of Ministries of Health
- Deliverable 3 – Required data for the evaluation are collected from the member States
4- Regularly evaluate the progress for alignment with the agreed-upon methods and for the findings of factual inconsistencies
- Deliverable 4 – Timely progression of the evaluation using the agreed upon methods and the findings are factually consistent
5- Assist the technical unit in reviewing and editing the final report of the Evaluation of the adoption of people-centered NCD service delivery within primary health care in SEAR countries (2014-2021) in accordance with the guidance provided in the WHO Evaluation Practice Handbook
