About UNjobs-Gender / GBV Programme Analyst
The Gender/GBV program Analyst provides overall management, programmatic and technical support in Gender/(GBV) programming prevention and response in the context of IDPs, refugees, and host communities to ensure strong partnership and collaboration. The Gender/GBV program Analyst reports to the UNFPA Deputy Representative of the Sudan Country Office and is under the direct supervision and day-to-day support of the UNFPA GBV program Specialist/head of Gender GBV and youth unit. In order to meet the needs of survivors and effect positive social norm change regarding FGM and child/early marriage, this response involves close collaboration with the health, psychosocial, protection, and legal sectors.

Education:
- An advanced degree with 2 years experience or a bachelor’s degree with 4 years’ experience.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in increasing responsibilities in Gender/GBV-related areas, ideally, and management of Gender Programmes.
Languages:
- English proficiency is necessary, Arabic knowledge is highly desirable, and French knowledge is advantageous.
