Duties and Responsibilities of These UNjobs in Asia

• Act as the project’s focal point for HR, administrative, and security-related tasks.
• Assist with the recruiting process, including document preparation, scheduling, and tracking in compliance with UNDP processes and guidelines. This involves assisting in the development of HR planning strategies for both current and long-term staffing needs.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • High School with 6 years of work experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field with 3 years of relevant work experience
  • 6 years of relevant work experience in HR and /or administration OR 3 years post-bachelor’s professional experience in HR and/or administration
  • Effective HR administration and people management skills.
  • Ability to work and coordinate with large and complex teams.
  • Ability to effectively plan, organize and audit processes and results.
  • Ability to interpret, resolve and report on administrative and human resource challenges.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • High-level IT/computing skills (minimum: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good documentation and writing skills.

Other Attributes

  • Ability to work independently and under minimum supervision
  • Proficiency in the use of CAATs (Computer Assisted Audit Tools), for people and process management.
  • Documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
