Job description

Overview of position
CTG is looking for candidates whose experience match the below TOR for our operaitons in Abyei.

Role objectives
Receive & process online requisitions for stores supplies from sections & units.

Ensure that supplies are issued as per approved requisitions.

Monitor stocks, conduct regular stock taking & prepare reports for discrepancies identified.

Implement quality control & quality assurance for the materials & goods received.

Coordinate the receiving & inspection operations with the respective technical unit counterparts to ensure compliance with the technical specifications of materials received.

Review & verify delivery documentation & liaise with the procurement unit on discrepancies in the deliveries.

Process the receiving & issuance of materials in ERP UMOJA, following the established processes.

Liaise with MOVCON / Inbound Coordinator & other counterparts in the mission on posting virtual goods receipts in UMOJA.

Update stock cards & assist in the reconciliation of storage bins.

Perform data enrichment of equipment received in UMOJA.

Conduct annual physical verifications of stocks ensuring adherence to the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & update of records in UMOJA.

Ensure the release of UN property to end users is aligned with the SOPs & manuals for purpose of transparency & accountability.

Assist with ensuring implementation of the internal control systems including accounting, reporting & maintenance of all electronic / hardcopy records to ensure proper audit trail.

Prepare write offs requests for property, which lost, obsolete or damaged.

Implements Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) in the workplace.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Project reporting
This role reports to the line manager.

Key competencies
High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Technical certificate in at least one of the following areas is an advantage namely logistics, inventory management & supply chain management.

A minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in inventory management, warehouse management or logistics.

Experience in supporting supply services for international peacekeeping or military operations is desirable.

Working experience in UMOJA warehouse module & inventory management module is mandatory.

Minimum three years of proven experience with both modules is required.

To have good knowledge of UMOJA ECC to be able to run inventory reports.

Working knowledge & navigation of UN material master material & service catalogue in UMOJA & identification of correct PIDs.

To have good knowledge of UMOJA SRM, to be able to search for required Purchase Orders (PO’s), shopping carts & system contracts.

Certification of completed courses in UMOJA is required, i.e. ECC Navigation, UMOJA Property Management, Master Data & Coding Block, Fixed Assets Management, UMOJA Service Delivery, UMOJA Logistics, etc.

Working experience in the Physical Inventory Reconciliation Program (PIRO) is desirable.

Fluency in spoken & written English.

Team management
This role has no team management resposibility.
