About ORCD:
Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2010 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. ORCD is a multi-donor funded NGO, implementing health, agriculture and community development projects in several provinces of the country.
ORCD would like to implement Mobile Health & Nutrition Services (MHNT)
Faryab, Laghman, Logar, Ghazni, Paktia, Paktika, Samangan, Kandahar, Uruzgan, Zabul, Jawzjan, Kunar, Bamyan, Kunduz & Wardak provinces funded by (UNFPA) for which it would like to seek qualified people.
Job Description:
- Act according to the policy of ORCD.
- Implementing and observing of all national guidelines and norms EPI system
- Do vaccination to children and women
- Do outreach and mobile in the catchment area according to plan
- On time data collection and registration.
- Keeping proper temperature of vaccine refrigerator and keep record of temperature.
- Filling of tally sheet of vaccination on daily basis
- Cooperate with other staff of health facility in the health facility related matters.
- Observing of hygiene on daily basis
- Perform duty according to the vaccination norms and protocols!
- Collecting vaccine from near HFs, and has a good coordination with them.
- Should make monthly report and submit it to his/her line supervisor.
- Attending and participating in meeting and training when invited by management office.
- Any additional task given by his/her line supervisor.
- Keep confidential with issue related to ORCD.
Job Requirements:
- Being an Afghan citizen.
- Graduated from 12 grade higher will preferred especially medical institute.
- Previous experience in the relevant field.
- BPHS experience will be an additional asset.
- Good communication and interpersonal skill.
- Must be fluent in local language especially (Pashto and Dari).
- Good team work spirit
- Self-motivated
- Able to go to the field.
