The Afghanistan Maternal and Child Health Institute is a branch of the global, non-profit and non-governmental organization Miristops International, headquartered in London, England, and began operating in August 2002 after being registered with the Afghan government. did. Miristops International Afghanistan follows the local mission statement of Miristops International: Improving the health and well-being of Afghan women, so that they can in turn build strong and healthy families. Our vision is to be the organization that Afghan women look to for quality, client-centered health services, provided by women for women.
By providing quality and sustainable maternal and child and reproductive health information and care in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health in 17 provinces of Afghanistan, including Kabul, Balkh, Herat, Jawzjan, Faryab, Nangarhar, Helmand, Kandahar, Baghlan, Kunduz, Badakhshan, Takhar, Samangan, Kapisa, Khost, Paktia and Daikundi, our focus is to Reduce maternal mortality. Miristops International Afghanistan is one of the main providers of maternal and child health and reproductive health services on a volunteer basis in Afghanistan. Our goal is to improve women’s health by providing basic reproductive and maternal and child health services through various channels such as health centers, mobile teams, social marketing and women (entrepreneurial midwives). Miristops International Afghanistan is working to increase the number of skilled health workers capable of providing quality services across Afghanistan, as well as to improve the overall level of these services by resorting to activities such as policy development/adjustment, awareness raising and training.
Job Description:

Proper storage and maintenance of vaccines, etc. vaccine-related equipment –
Maintaining the cold chain –
Out reach – Prepare a work plan for the fixed center and
Correct and professional implementation of childhood and maternal vaccinations and delivery of health messages –

Providing information about family planning, reproductive health, and general hygiene to all visitors to the vaccination department –

CHWs participate in and facilitate vaccination sessions –
