Just for Afghan Capacity and Knowledge (JACK) is an independent, non-governmental, non-Profit, non-Political and non-Sectarian Organization working in Afghanistan since 2001 in the areas of health, nutrition, education, development and emergency with an aim at improving livelihoods and alleviating poverty. And JACK had the experiences of working in various provinces and zones of Afghanistan.

JACK registered under the Ministry of Economy with registration number, 316. The organization works in Collaboration with other line Ministries, NGOs, INGOs, and donor communities.

The mandate of JACK is to improve lives of the people we touch through our programs. We strive to have a community that is empowered, participates in its development and is able to use the resources available to them to get what they want.  We work to assist communities in their efforts that lead them to self- help and in essence self- reliance that comes with economic and social independence.

Our service is without fear, favor or prejudice to race, nationality, religion, political affiliations region or language. We offer assistance where it is needed within our resource and ability.

1. Be able to prepare an update list of the EPI and MCH dropouts to follow them in outreach sessions.
2. To store, handle and maintain vaccines as per Afghanistan N-EPI/UNICEF/WHO protocols.
3. To dispose contaminated waste in a responsible manner to prevent exposure and harm.
4. To provide EPI services in the HFs and out-reach.
5. To provide appropriate health education to prevent dropout and increase coverage.
6. To motivate the drop out clients, search them in the target area and refer them for completion of remaining vaccines.
7. To provide health education for her/his client to mobilize them to the Health Facilities and outreach sessions.
8. To attend training programs as required by the JACK and other stakeholders.
9. To provide complete, accurate, clear and on time monthly reports and other activity reports to the line manager and the project office.
10. To maintain proper filing and keep the relevant record as required by the project.
11. Work as back up vaccinator in those HFs where needed.
12. Provision of materials and information for health education sessions to the clients and communities.
13. Administer EPI services to all children and woman according to EPI policy.
14. Manage cold chain system according to EPI protocols.
15. Support the provision of primary health care within the community.
16. Counsel and educate patients, the family, and community about immunization and in relevant areas of health.
17. Perform limited, select administrative duties such as patient charting, recording, and reporting of data, clinic and/or facility management, or coordination of specific outreach programs.
18. Identify and report immediately any problem which interferes in the delivery of services or in achieving the program objectives to his/her immediate supervisor.
19. Participate in weekly meeting of health facility to share information and discuss the program progress.
20. Respect and follow JACK’S policy and never neglect, abuse, harm and exploit children, young people, and adult at risk,
21. Report any actual or suspicious harm to the children and vulnerable adult.
22. Adhere to the Code of Conduct, maintain humanitarian principles and respect humanitarian law.

• At least baccalaureate degree, medical field related degree is preferable.
• 1-year work experience in relevant field is required.
• Successfully completed immunization initial training.
• Previous experience is desirable.
• The candidate must have good human and communication skills.
• Candidate must be able to speak fluently in Dari, Pashto and English will be a plus point.
• Computer proficiency will be an advantage.
