JOB PURPOSE

Under the direct supervision of AO Logistics Officer/Head of Fleet and in co-ordination with all Fleet staff, the incumbent shall perform the following duties:
- Provide support to Logistics/Fleet operation and activities,
- Supervise scheduled maintenance & repair, overhaul, reconditioning, modifications, in a most efficient manner with the objective to ensure that all vehicles are maintained to a high standard and roadworthy condition.
- Oversee the materials management aspect of the operation and in particular the controlling, justification and issuance of spare parts, tyres, lubricants & consumable materials.
- Assist in the forecasting and requisitioning of spare parts: preparation of orders for spare parts/tires and materials required for the operation and submit these requests for the approval of the Workshop Manager.
- Carefully record and maintain an inventory list of all tools & workshop equipment.

JOB PURPOSE

- Responsible to ensure that all data produced in the system is accurate and always sent and received on a timely basis and to report any irregularities to immediate Supervisor.
- Assist and ensure that all reports and information as required by the Organisation are produced promptly on a timely basis via FMS. Additionally, analyze information and quality of report prior to distribution.
- Implement best practices established and ensure that KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) are maintained with parameters set.
- Consolidate all findings and to convert these conclusions reached into useful formats which can be interpreted by management for appropriate action and decision making.

- Ensure that Loss or damage of Spare parts, Tools, or Equipment as well as Loss of Fuel in the care of the employee shall be deducted from the salary based on CIF value or Local Market Rate, whichever is prevailing.

JOB PURPOSE
The Logistics Assistant (Customs) reports to the supply Chain Officer (Custom Clearance) or the designate and is under the functional supervision of the Supply Chain Officer operations. Within delegated authority, the Logistics Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent supports on all Custom activities:
- Manage the status of issued Exemption Certificates (ECs) ensure all customs clearance process to be completed by transporter duly in time before the ECs expiration date.
- Communicate with Area Offices (AOs) and transporter accordingly to follow up with the customs clearance process.
- Regularly reconcile the balances of each ECs vs available stock in neighboring countries and share the latest report to AOs for the smooth usage of the ECs before getting expired.
- Regular follow up with AOs for cross-border operation related to ECs balances and its expiration date.
- Monitor T1 status in ASYCUDA system and coordinate with Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and Customs Revenue Department (CRD) to resolve issues if required.
- Liaise with Pakistan CO for smooth process of detention verification. Follow up with AOs in updating the border tracking sheet. Ensure all the data inserted is accurate and verified with appropriate documents. Make sure latest data is uploaded in order for Pakistan CO to process the verification of detention invoice.
- Enter and release the NVs in ASYCUDA after the EC letters approved by the signatory.
- Assist and advise C&F agents for the usage of ASYCUDA GD user and support them for any technical issues as an ASYCUDA specialist and focal point in CO.
- Assist Logistics Assistant in updating the online EC tracking sheet on regular basis and keep track of all imports into the country under each EC.
- Translate external memos/ letters, and verbal communication into English received from MoFA, CRD and other stakeholders when required.
- Assist Supply Chain Officer in drafting letters, arranging meeting with Ministries, and other duties if required.

INFORMATION MANAGEMENT:
The incumbent will support on all ASYCUDA information management activities:
- Work closely with C&F Agents and Transporter for resolving the pending T1s on time with in EC validity to have correct data in ASYCUDA system for WFP custom clearance

- Managing the ECUs End User Certificate, review it and making it ready for the signatory to sign for the International Shipment
