100 METI’s 2025 Foreign Student Internship Program in Japan:
The METI Japanese Internship Program 2025 is now accepting applications. The METI Japan Internship Program offers international talent the opportunity to experience the Japanese workplace, culture, and business environment through hands-on internships with Japanese companies. For those interested in working in Japan, the program also provides Japanese language training and job matching support to help interns pursue long-term career opportunities in Japan.

Prerequisites of 100 METI’s 2025 Foreign Student Internship Program in Japan:
- Interns should support the globalization of Japanese companies and embrace the initiative’s goal.
- be citizens of a country on the OECD/DAC list (except from China); they are not allowed to reside in Japan.
- Age range: 18–40 on August 25, 2025.
- proficient in both Japanese and English (JLPT N3+).
- enrolled in or just received their degree from a college, university, or technical institution.
- able to offer certificates of enrollment and graduation as well as a letter of recommendation.
- capable of providing proof of relevant language proficiency (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, JLPT).
- committed to giving training and internship programs their full participation.
- Currently unemployed and unwilling to switch jobs to work in Japan.
- satisfy any additional demands made by the host businesses.
How to Use It of 100 METI’s 2025 Foreign Student Internship Program in Japan:
- The program office’s online registration form can be used to register online.
- The application’s content, the candidate’s qualifications and internship experience, their comprehension of the program’s goals, and any host company criteria or applications will all be considered during the screening process.
- Document screening, a primary interview in either Japanese or English, and a follow-up interview in one of the two languages will all be part of the selection process.
- Every certification certificate, reference letter, picture, and visa-related document relating to academic credentials or language skills needs to be sent in separately.
