Description of Opportunity
For overseas students enrolled in the university’s bachelor’s or master’s degree programs for the academic year 2024–2025, the University of Insubria in Italy is offering 20 scholarships.
Talented and exceptional students from outside Italy who apply are eligible to receive a scholarship to help pay for two years of education in either English or Italian.

Benefits of the scholarship:
Each scholarship is worth 5,000 euros a year, which is awarded in four payments of 2,500 euros each. A student may apply for a regional grant or scholarship for his or her third year of study if they are pursuing a three-year bachelor’s degree.
By September 30 of every year, recipients need to have completed at least 40 ECTS credits. It is not possible to combine scholarships with other grants. Any incompatibilities must be reported by the students. The scholarship does not pay for lodging, transportation, insurance, or other costs.
Selection standards:
The academic record, CV, motivation letter, and, in the case of the most qualified individuals, an interview will be used by a special committee that the rector has created to evaluate applications. The committee will distribute the maximum 30 points as follows:
– Academic History: up to 20 points
A CV with no more than five points for employment, research, or study experience
– Letter of motivation: up to five points
Those with a score of less than 21/30 are not eligible.
The chosen candidates will be invited to an interview if needed.

– Your diploma from high school or college (or, in certain situations, a statement from the school)A copy of your academic transcripts; a resume that lists your previous employment; and your preferred degree program- Motivational letter
Obtaining a Cimea Statement of Comparability is not required, but it will facilitate the examination. All uploaded papers must be in one of the following languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish, or Portuguese. You won’t be given consideration for the scholarship if you don’t fulfill these requirements.
How to utilize
The application period begins on April 5, 2024, and ends at 12 a.m. (Italian time) on May 31, 2024, through the i-STUD online site. Verify your contact information to make sure you don’t miss any notifications.

Payment and Upkeep:
Four installments will be made to cover the cost of the scholarship.
Within 60 days of arrival in Italy, the first installment (€2,500) is provided if enrollment is complete, an Italian bank account is opened, and a statement of acceptance is signed.
The second payment of €2,500 is made once a minimum of 12 ECTS are completed by February 28, 2025.
– The final payment of €2,500 is made within 60 days of the second year’s enrollment being completed.
– After earning at least 52 ECTS by February 28, 2026, the fourth installment (€2,500) is awarded.
– By September 30, 2025, beneficiaries must pass 40 ECTS, and by September 30, 2026, 80 ECTS.
– Scholarship amounts depend on an applicant’s ability to attend the university in person; distance learning lowers awards correspondingly.
Revocation:
If a student transfers or withdraws or fails to complete credit requirements, their scholarship may be withdrawn. The student is required to return the scholarship in such circumstances. Extraordinary cases will be reviewed by the University Rector.
