Applications are being accepted for the 50 Tuition Fee Waiver for International Students at the University of Pavia. In an attempt to attract international students to the University of Pavia, 50 tuition fee waivers will be awarded on a “First come, first served” basis to students enrolling in the first year of non-restricted access bachelor’s or master’s degree programs for the academic year 2024–2025.
The only costs for those who receive the tuition fee waiver will be the “Regional Tax for the Right to Higher Education” and the enrollment tax, which totals 156 euros and comes with a duty stamp. No more financial records are needed. The tuition waiver is only good for the first year and cannot be extended.

Eligibilities:
Applicants must meet all the following requirements:
- Have a non-Italian citizenship (either non-EU or EU).
- Reside outside of Italy.
- Hold a Secondary School Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree obtained outside of Italy.
- Enroll in a non-restricted Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at the University of Pavia for the academic year 2024/25, paying the Enrollment Tax (156 euros) between May 15th and May 23rd, 2024.
Incompatibility:
Tuition fee waivers are incompatible with:
- Any other type of scholarship or grant awarded by the University of Pavia.
- The EDiSU Pavia scholarship already includes a tuition fee waiver, so EDiSU scholarship winners will not be eligible for the tuition fee waiver offered by this call.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation issues study grants.
- Study grants awarded through an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree.
- Multiple or joint degree programs in which tuition must be paid to a university other than the University of Pavia.
How to Apply?
To apply, complete the following steps:

- Click on ‘Sign in’ or ‘Register’
- Select the degree program/programs using the search tool above.
- If you have never registered before, select ‘I am a new applicant’ and enter your email address.
- A single PIN CODE will be displayed on the screen. Please go to your email inbox, locate the email, and click the link to continue the registration process, enter the PIN code, and create a password.
- Fill in your data. Clicking ‘Save’ will save your application, even if it is incomplete. You can save your application at any point and return to it later.
- Finish the tasks by uploading all required documents.
- Pay the application fee and then wait 24 hours for the payment status to be updated.
- To complete your application, click ‘SUBMIT’. Once your application is submitted, the attached documents cannot be removed or replaced. If necessary, new documents (e.g., final degree diploma, language certificate) can be added after submission. Please remember to click the submit button after making any changes or adding additional documents.
- Pay attention to the feedback and requests for additional actions that you will receive via email.
