Every year, BU welcomes approximately 20 outstanding students to the Trustee Scholars Program. Many of our current Scholars had perfect 4.0 grade point averages in high school and ranked in the top of their class.

They are, in other words, not just top students, but extraordinarily well-rounded individuals. A Trustee Scholarship covers full undergraduate tuition plus mandatory undergraduate student fees and is renewable for four years if certain criteria are met.

Requirements of Boston University Trustee Scholarship 2024
- A candidate must be commencing studies in any UG program at BU
- A candidate must have secured a position in the top 5% of their high school class.
- A candidate must have a GPA of 4.0 in high school.
- A candidate must have an SAT score above 1500 and an ACT score above 33.
- A candidate must be expected to be academically excellent.
- The candidate must demonstrate outstanding performance in extracurricular activities and exceptional contributions at school and in the community.
