The Curtin Humanitarian Fund Scholarship 2024 is available for undergraduate and graduate study in any academic area taught at the institution. Applying for this scholarship is available here. The application must be submitted by November 17, 2023. Curtin University is offering this scholarship, with a partial funding amount to be determined for each application. All nationalities are eligible to apply for this award.
Curtin University offers the Curtin Humanitarian Fund Scholarship 2024 to students from refugee-like backgrounds who are having financial difficulties funding their undergraduate and graduate degrees. The university will determine the scholarship’s worth based on each recipient’s unique circumstances.
Eligibility:
- Applicant must be currently residing within Australia
- Must have received a full offer of admission and enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at the University in 2024 Semester 1
- Must be from a refugee-like background, or the relative/dependant of such a person, who experienced forced migration and may have entered Australia in a number of ways.
- Must be able to provide details of refugee background
- Financial hardship
Enrollment Requirements:
- Must remain enrolled in the initial course of study
- Maintain a course-weighted average (CWA) of at least 50 each semester
- Fail no more than one unit attempted each study period
