Students from developing nations and emerging economies can apply for DAAD-EPOS Scholarships to study for a master’s or doctoral degree in Germany in 2024–2025. These scholarships are available through the Development-Related Courses (EPOS) program.
About the program: The students from the nations on the following five continents may enroll in the EPOS program. This program covers all costs, including a monthly stipend, travel, health insurance, and other expenses.

Benefits of the DAAD-EPOS Scholarships
The DAAD scholarship provides great funding for the duration of the study program that includes the following:
- Monthly allowance 934 Euros for the masters degree and 1200 Euros for Ph.D. studies
- Health insurance payments
- Travel cost
- Under certain circumstances, scholarship holders may receive the following additional benefits:
- Monthly rent subsidy
- Monthly allowance for accompanying members of the family
Eligibility and Requirements
Here are some general requirnments for the academic year 2024/25; please visit the specific study program webpage for detailed infromation:
- English language proficiency for Programs taught in English (Toefl ibt 80 or IELTS 6
- German DSH 2 or TestDaF 4 for the programs taught in the German language.
- Two years of work experience
- Hold a bachelor degree with the result above the average
- Not be graduated before six years
- Be national of eligible countries.

- Applicants can apply directly to the degree program they want to study. They need to read the complete instruction and apply to the university.
- Selected applicants will be suggested for DAAD Scholarships.
- DAAD will contact the suggested applicants to upload their documents on the DAAD portal
- Finalized applicants will be informed.
