Eligibility Criteria of Scholarships for International Graduate Study:
This scholarship requires the following qualification:
- Candidates should not have resided in Germany for more than 15 months.
- If the applicants are from the fields of Musicals, Dance, Performance Studies and Choreography should have at least a basic knowledge of German.
- The programme is open to international applicants.
- The recent degree of the candidate should not be more than six years old.
- Applicants are also expected to have good knowledge of English.
- If the applicants are from the fields of Drama and Direction, they are expected to have an excellent command in German.
- The applicants should have enrolled in a Master’s or postgraduate degree programme.
Selection Standards:
- A separate DAAD committee chooses the candidates. Professors from German universities are on the committee.
- Candidates are chosen based on their submitted work examples and written applications.
