Through a partnership with Arizona State University, Canadian Women for Women in Afghanistan (CW4WAfghan) provides free online English education to Afghan women and girls.
You can enroll in these online courses to learn more about the English language or to improve your proficiency in it. The level of difficulty in these classes varies from basic to advanced. Following the completion of a placement test, you will be placed at your level and granted virtual access.
Over 550 Afghan women and girls are enrolled in online Academic English programs offered by CW4WAfghan with support from Arizona State University. These self-paced classes help girls and women from Afghanistan learn English. The English language classes cover the following topics:
Levels 1 through 4: daily lessons
Courses for everyday communication, including reading, writing, speaking, and grammar, are offered at Levels 1 through 4.Academic research writing and critical thinking courses are offered at levels 5 through 8. They will also learn how to operate in an English-speaking workplace in a formal business setting.
