The prerequisites for South Korea’s 2024 GIST Scholarship are as follows:
Prior to enrollment at GIST, the applicant must possess, or expect, a final degree.
The candidate needs to hold a bachelor’s degree that is on par with one obtained in Korea.
The applicant must be a student studying abroad.
Fluency in the English language is a prerequisite for the position.

The GIST Scholarship in South Korea offers the following benefits:
- 100% tuition fee support, or a tuition fee waiver, for all international students.
- A monthly stipend of 140,000 Won will be provided to MS students.
- A monthly stipend of 295,000 Won will be awarded to PhD students.
- A meal allowance of 100,000 Won will be provided to MS and PhD students. Note: To be eligible for meal and student allowances, students must have completed at least 9 credits in the preceding semester.
- For MS and PhD students, an international student allowance of 120,000 Won will be provided; however, the student must maintain a GPA of 3 or higher out of 4.5 in the previous semester.

Documents Needed for the GIST Scholarship Program in 2024:
Official degrees and transcripts are required. Notarized copies are also accepted, however an apostille is advised.
Two recommendation letters must bear the signatures and stamps of the recommenders.
The recommenders are not required to send the letters on their own or separately.
The required document is the official English language test report, which can be obtained from the TOEFL (BT) 80, TOEFL (PBT) 550, IELTS 6.5, TOEIC 750, or NEW TEPS 327. if there is a delay in your test results. Your own university can provide you with a professional certificate of English language competency.
A copy of the applicant’s passport must be submitted.
How can I apply for the GIST Scholarship for 2024?
The GIST South Korea scholarship requires an online application in order to be eligible.
The candidate must submit a matriculation fee; however, the charge may be waived upon recommendation from the dean, head of the department, or college.
