Conditions:
- Be a citizen of one of the developing nations on this list that are World Bank members.
- not own two citizenships in any developed nation
Stay healthy. - possess a bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, that was obtained at least three years before the application deadline.
- possess at least three years of recent work experience in a development-related field following the completion of a bachelor’s (or comparable) degree.
have a full-time, paid job doing development-related work at the time the scholarship application is submitted. - The only exemption to this rule is for citizens of developing nations who come from a nation that is included in the most recent list of fragile and conflicting states that is made available to applicants in the Application Guidelines for every scholarship call.
- Be admitted unconditionally (unless funding is available) to at least one of the master’s programs offered by the JJ/WBGSP preferred universities outside of the applicant’s country of citizenship and country of residence listed at the time the scholarship application deadline opens, on or before the scholarship application deadline. - A close relative of the aforementioned by blood or adoption is defined as a mother, father, sister, half-sister, brother, half-brother, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew. They must also not be an Executive Director, his or her alternate, or staff member of any kind of appointment of the World Bank Group.
