Graduate Scholarship Program of the World Bank 2025:

Applications for the 2025 World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program are being accepted. For international students from developing nations, the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) 2025 is now accepting applications. A fully funded scholarship for a master’s degree from a reputable university is the Joint Japan/World Bank Scholarship. The top colleges in the US, Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan will accept the students. Men and women from developing nations are welcome to apply.

Conditions:

  • Be a citizen of one of the developing nations on this list that are World Bank members.
  • not own two citizenships in any developed nation
    Stay healthy.
  • possess a bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, that was obtained at least three years before the application deadline.
  • possess at least three years of recent work experience in a development-related field following the completion of a bachelor’s (or comparable) degree.
    have a full-time, paid job doing development-related work at the time the scholarship application is submitted.
  • The only exemption to this rule is for citizens of developing nations who come from a nation that is included in the most recent list of fragile and conflicting states that is made available to applicants in the Application Guidelines for every scholarship call.
  • Be admitted unconditionally (unless funding is available) to at least one of the master’s programs offered by the JJ/WBGSP preferred universities outside of the applicant’s country of citizenship and country of residence listed at the time the scholarship application deadline opens, on or before the scholarship application deadline. Prior to submitting your application, you must upload the letter of admission. See “How to Apply” for more information.
  • A close relative of the aforementioned by blood or adoption is defined as a mother, father, sister, half-sister, brother, half-brother, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, niece, or nephew. They must also not be an Executive Director, his or her alternate, or staff member of any kind of appointment of the World Bank Group.
