International Researchers’ Einstein Fellowship in Germany 2025/2026:
Applications for the Einstein Fellowship are currently being accepted from exceptional thinkers who want to work on a subject that is different from their prior work.
The Einstein Forum, in collaboration with the Wittenstein Foundation, provides this fellowship program to gifted young people so they can work on a subject that differs from their prior work. The purpose of this fully sponsored fellowship is to help participants become more specialized in various areas of the profession.
The program includes five to six months of lodging in Einstein’s summerhouse’s garden cottage in Caputh, Brandenburg. The fellow will also be reimbursed for travel expenses and earn a stipend of EUR 10,000.

Eligibilities:
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility requirements listed below:
- The age limit is 35 years old.
- Hold a degree from a university in the scientific sciences, social sciences, or humanities.
- The project will be presented at a public lecture at the Wittenstein Foundation’s Einstein Forum.
- Candidates ought to work on a project that is unrelated to their prior research.
- Please be aware that dissertation research will not be eligible for fellowships.
- THE PROPOSED PROJECT MUST BE SIGNIFICANTLY DIFFERENT IN CONTENT, AND PREFERABLY FIELD AND FORM, FROM THE APPLICANT’S PREVIOUS WORK.
