The highest student in each program’s SAU Entrance Exam receives the SAU President Scholarship, which is awarded for 11 months. It depends on the first semester’s outcomes for M.Tech. and B.Tech. The Silver Jubilee Scholarship of SAARC India (SJS)
For Master’s students from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, the SAARC-India Silver Jubilee Scholarship (SJS) offers 75 scholarships, half of which are reserved for women. 20% of scholarships may be awarded to selected SAU students by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
This scholarship provides:

- Exemption from paying hostel fees
- A starting and ending allotment of INR 7,000 INR 10,000 each month.
General Requirements
- Students are not permitted to work part-time jobs and all programs are full-time.
- Only degrees from universities approved by the government are acceptable.
- Applicants who have not yet completed their qualifying tests may still apply, but their acceptance will be contingent upon meeting the requirements for eligibility and submitting their results by the deadline.
Other:
- Tech. (CSE) and Dual Degree B.Tech.+ M.Tech. (CSE): Requires at least 65% in the Science stream in Class 12 (with Mathematics and Physics/Chemistry).
- Tech. (CS): A 4-year B.Tech./B.E./BSc. (Engg.)/BS in Computer Science or similar disciplines with 55% marks, or a Master’s in Computer Science/related fields with 55% marks.
- Integrated M.Sc.+M.Tech. (CS): A two-year bachelor’s degree with completion of the first year of a master’s program, or a three- or four-year bachelor’s degree with 55% in computer science or related subjects.
- 15 years of schooling (12+3) with 50% for an M.A. and 55% for an M.Sc. is required for the master’s program.
- D. Program: A bachelor’s degree plus postgraduate coursework (such as an M.A., M.Sc., or M.Tech.) with a 55% grade in science and 50% in the social sciences and law.
