The Johns Hopkins University Free Online Course on Developing Data Products is now accepting applications. A data product is the end outcome of a statistical analysis. Data products automate time-consuming analysis procedures or use technology to improve the utility of a model, algorithm, or inference that is based on data. This course covers the principles of creating data products using R packages, interactive graphics, and Shiny. The focus of the course will be on the statistical concepts required to produce a data product that can be used to tell a data story to a big audience.

This course consists of five modules:

Course Summary, Plotly,  Google Vis, and Shiny R Packages: Swirl and Course Project, R Markdown and Leaflet.
